11:30AM  Next door to Ramseyers’s Farm is the Barn Restaurant.  Housed in a remodeled old barn, they offer wonderful banquet facilities with a unique country style menu.  After lunch experience the Shops of Buchanan Place across the parking lot from the Barn. Enjoy this 12-room Victorian Farmhouse filled with gifts and collectables, a terrific toy store, and an old-fashioned general store.  Not a shopper?  Sit and relax on one of their many benches around a small lake and feed the ducks and geese. 1:00PM Next stop is the Mishler Weaving Mill, run by the Smithville Historical Society.  See cloth woven on their 100-year old looms.  In the past, this mill was a supplier of cheese cloth to the local cheese industry.  Now you are able to purchase cloth and rugs continuing the tradition started by John Mishler many years ago. 2:15PM  Next stop is the P. Graham Dunn Gallery, which is located in the scenic Sonnenberg Valley

nestled in Amish Country.  On the tour, you will see craftspeople operating  wood carving and laser-engraving technology and then enjoy the finished products in their 6,000 sq. ft. retail showroom that showcases the

charming wood gifts, and framed prints that they are so well known for. You might get a jump on your Christmas shopping! Call for optional gift item price.

10:45m-11:45am  Just down the road is a unique thrift store operated by the Mennonite Central Committee called MCC Connections. A purchase from this shop improves people’s lives around the world.  Visit their Quilt Room where you will watch volunteers creating beautiful quilts and rag rugs from recycled cloth and scrap materials. NOON-1:30pm Enjoy an authentic Amish style meal at Dutch Kitchen, known for their warm country atmosphere and great Amish cooking. Visit their Gift Shop and Bakery for unique gift ideas, homemade bread, cookies, fry pies and the best apple butter this side of anywhere! Add a bakery experience with your meal such as filling cream sticks or decorating cookies , right in their kitchen. They are then packaged for you to take home…groups love this feature. 1:45pm-2:45p, Our next stop is the Habitat Restore operated by Wayne County Habitat for Humanity.  This store accepts donations of new and saleable used building materials, such as doors, cabinets, lighting, shutters and more.  This keeps usable building materials out of the landfills while helping low-income families build new energy efficient homes. No charge.

 

3:00-4:00pm Downtown Wooster is next. Your motorcoach will pick-up and drop-off at the Everything Rubbermaid Store, where everyone in your group receives a free gift.
