WC Historical Society Open House, includes Military and Sterling exhibits

There is so much history in Wayne County and we have it here! Our current featured exhibit is "From the Collection: Wayne County in the Armed Forces" which runs through December. We also have a pop-up exhibit "The Historical Roots of Sterling, Ohio" which runs through Sept. 10. Our 8-building campus includes the fabulous historic Beall-Stibbs House, a Carriage Barn, Firehouse Relief Co. No. 4, a General Mercantile Store and dress shop, a Pioneer Log House, and our 1873 Schoolhouse. We also have an amazing Permanent Collection which is housed underneath all of our buildings. Give yourself plenty of time, there is so much to see. Or ask us how you can break the tour up into several shorter visits. You'll be glad you came! $5.00 admission. Children 18 and under and WCHS members are no charge.
